David Brian Mueller was recently accepted as a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and created this site, in part, to start publishing some of his compositions. David usually works with .Wav files but the player on this site requires that he convert his files to the MP3 format. On this page he is testing the system. Below is a pre-release version of an experimental synthesizer piece that I composed on Halloween of 2012 using my Ensoniq KS-32 and Samplitude Music Studio 2013. The piece was untitled but I decided on this title, "Shine On You Crazy Cone," since it is the title of a 3D animation that I created with Blender 2.65a and I included a significant excerpt of the piece in that video which I published here and on YouTube on 02/16/13. The title seems fitting.

Below is a prerelease arrangement of a song which David is composing entitled "A Big Fat Stone." This is an mp3 version and includes 3 instrument tracks featuring guitar, bass, and drums that David composed using Guitar Pro 6. David then mixed down the instrument tracks into a .wav file and then added a vocal track using Magix Audio Studio 2005 deluxe software. The result was again mixed down into a .wav file and this .mp3 version was derived from that.
Here is a piece that David composed and produced entitled "Mary Warner's Holiday Wish." David posted this mp3 version of the piece on 12/29/11. David used Guitar Pro 6 software to compose the piece and the software's "Realistic Sound Engine" (RSE) "performed" the piece in this recording.
This piece is entitled "Festive Holiday Strings Theme" and was composed by David using a template for string quartet music creation in Guitar Pro 6.
This piece is entitled "Holiday Dance" and was created by David on 12/25/11 and was uploaded by him on 12/26/11. The piece was composed by David but was performed here by Guitar Pro 6 software.
On 12/24/11, David uploaded this mp3 version of an instrumental piece he is working on entitled "Holiday Jingle Take One." Although David composed the piece, it was actually performed by Guitar Pro 6 software.
As of 12/19/11, David is still getting geared up and getting ready to produce some new compositions, but, in the meanwhile, here is an experiment in extreme reverb that he created on 03/27/09 and that is entitled 032709extremereverb.
Below, David uploaded a sample that he composed, performed, and recorded in 2008. As is the case with all of these samples, this is not meant to be a release of a finished product but is instead just an opportunity to test things out here before proceeding any further. David used Magix software which he is licensed for to create each of these recordings.
This track features a perky and informal recreational jam that David recorded just after getting his Ibanez S 470 DX DM and it was recorded on 03/27/09. David will try to post some tracks that include vocals soon.
Here is another excerpt from some informal and impromptu jam sessions that David recorded, this time on 03/28/09. Again, David posted this mostly for testing purposes and hopes to start posting more substantive and formal work very soon.
Here, the music is an untitled piece ( David uses the date of creation as a title here ) that he created in 2006 in an impromptu fashion. The volume is perhaps too low and may need adjusting.
